Following the evidence behind AI and free expression
A model response needs the question, conditions, and research method that gave it meaning.
An encounter has a context
A refusal or an answer is an observation under particular conditions. A useful record preserves the exact prompt, model identity and version when available, collection time, conversation context, sampling settings, and response. Missing conditions should remain explicitly unknown.
Research ownership
Free Speech Ledger is by The Future of Free Speech and supported by Miskir. The Future of Free Speech owns the methodology and interpretation. Miskir’s role concerns provenance and integrity of the supporting record; those roles must remain distinct when quoting or summarizing.
What is publicly available
The public Free Speech Ledger catalog retrieved on October 15, 2026 identifies the project as a design prototype with draft research scope and lists no verified findings. Its planned encounters are research scope, not completed observations. Consult that source catalog for later changes.
Carry the method with the finding
When evidence becomes available, cite the encounter and methodology versions together. Preserve selection criteria, exclusions, limitations, and disagreements. An integrity check alone cannot establish that a comparison is fair or representative.
A reason to return
Revisit the source catalog to learn whether findings have been published or methodology has changed. This guide does not expose a model-query service or a public receipt registry.
